About Rising Moon Studio Rising Moon Studio is located in rural West Virginia in Tyler County. We like to say we are a little bit close to nowhere. Our studio and organic farm sits on 140-acres. From the windows of the studio, we see hay fields, woods, flower and vegetable gardens, abundant wildlife, and birds. It started in the spring of 1999 as a get away place. For ten years we did the juried art shows circuit. We are now in the process of building a passive / solar house which will be filled with our furniture and other artists artwork. Though we have slowed down a bit, we continue to create one-of-a-kind contemporary folk art furniture and accessories for the home garden and sell through consignment shops, artisan coops, and venues such as the WVFarm2U web site. We try to use as much recycled and reclaimed wood as possible and gather most of the twigs and wood in our pieces from our property.
